College is not for everyone. There are numerous programs and schools that offer training and certification in a variety of valuable trades.

What is a trade school?

A trade school is a higher learning institution that’s trains students on technical skills that can prepare them for a specific occupation. Some alternate names are technical schools or vocational school/college. These programs can range between eight months to two years. Graduates do not earn a bachelor’s degree. Instead, they receive a trade certificate or a diploma. One nice thing about vocational schools is that graduates can get hired as soon as they have completed their program.
